SINA: Piece Picking

Eight companies have joined forces to develop a new, comprehensive concept: The first fully automated warehouse lift, equipped with AI-based vision, a mobile goods in and out, and comprehensive safety concept.

For this purpose, a mobile packing station is set up in front of a warehouse lifter from EFFIMAT. This is equipped with two Universal Robots UR10e cobots and the sBot nanoScan3 safety system from SICK at both front corners. The cobots work with Piab's Mini Cobot Gripper (MCG) with the latest MX suction cup, as well as robominds' robobrain.vision system, which uses AI to separate and pack the target crate.

Finished packed boxes are placed on the autonomously moving mobile robots, MiR250 with TR125 top rollers from ROEQ, and thus transported to the workbench. Ecosphere, as the system integrator, ensures smooth setup and operation. At the back, there is a conveyor belt that can be used to load the warehouse both manually and via the two cobots.
